Validation of Testing:Did the testing of this panel with 50um using a currently calibrated Fluke Networks Cable Analyzer with MM laser optimized Adapters on it. The reference cords for testing were zeroed out of the equation, and thus their loss was not part of the overall rating in the enclosed testing. Further to note the reference cords utilized TIA required mandrels per testing procedures with five (5) wraps per output cord. Each connection was properly cleaned and inspected under a Fiber Optic Inspection Microscope by JDSU/Viavi. All cleaning supplies were Fujikura. All of these supplies and materials can also be purchased here on Amazon as well.Testing Conditions:70F at 16% relative humidity. All cords, equipment, and the Panel were fully acclimated to the environmental conditions.Overall findings of the above-mentioned testing:The panel tested quite well over all in each pass and re-run. We did do bi-directional testing to ensure all results were the same equivalent in each direction while playing with this unit. This panel does hold performance quality found in the larger named products it competes with. Based on this tier of testing I would most defiantly recommend this panel to other technicians and project managers who are selecting products for a build out. As well, I would also recommend to anyone building any type of lab / testing environment as well. Its performance is on par with that of much higher priced units.Further testing / validation:It was also put against basic loss test sets from very reputable sources. However, those results are not included in the enclosed pictures as those test sets have not been lab qualified / calibrated annually in some time. They are only used for quick checks. Most testing is done exclusively with certification and / or OTDR testing. A voice over fiber talk set by Noyes was also utilized on this panel.This panel was to be subjected to a premium Viavi OTDR test set, but at this time a launch cord is MIA at the moment. Remember the sweet price to performance you are getting.Limited space for labeling (common issue on most units, build a fiber map)Verdict:Overall, I would highly recommend this unit to anyone with a LC OM3 or below requirement and they do not want to break the bank. This unit has good versatility, and one to note is a small IDF cabinet. You can splice on the side of the cabinet and lace to the panel with room to the side for loops and sno-shoes if needed. It is a good performance unit for the price. Too good to not consider actually.We will revisit this unit again with OTDR and launch cables in hand. But I doubt that it will let us down at all based on all the tinkering with it done to date.
