The general finish is still good but the interiors just aren’t what they used to be. No document pocket for instance. Maybe it’s the step up in size but the lid and base seem flimsier than the previous 33 and 37 liter boxes I’ve had in the past. Still, a good quality unit if you have multiple cases for versatility and don’t want to change your mount plate. It’s a nice box, and it’s f’n big. Waterproof in my experience with it.Best investment you can make for a motorcycle. I waited and waited and finally found one of these beauties on sale. I know the reputation that GIVI has and I had absolutely no problems spending the money on this one. For me, this is the perfect size box. I don't usually store my helmet in it, so that's not an issue either. IF you have a small helmet and are creative, you can put two inside of this box. One has to be standing up and the other on its side with the top of the helmet facing outward. I wear a 2XL helmet, so it's not happening lol.Box stays dry as a bone. The new latching system on this box is genius. Put in the key, press the button, and lift the lid. No more latch to handle with your hands which are probably full of gear to pack into the box. Then to close, take and press the lid, then remove the key. Now there is one thing you need to remember, you can take the key out of this one with the box open. So then you open yourself up to accidentally locking your key inside. Why would you put your key in the box? I'm not sure but I've seen it happen. So the rule that I exercise for myself is, Always leave the key in the lock until the box is closed. This one does not have the famous red document holder in the lid. Some tape and a ziploc fixed that for me. With the proper GIVI mounting plate, it snaps on and off with the push of a button. The way the handle is made, you could manage to pack this into a hotel or wherever as your luggage, but mine always stays on my bike. Several times I've been able to cram this thing full of an endless amount of things.Going on a road trip next week so I really get to pack it tight. I've been through plenty of thunderstorms with it and of course it stays bone dry on the inside. I also upgraded and got the luggage rack for the top of the box. Going to be perfect for mounting my tent and sleeping bag for the trip.Overall, this box is perfect! The silver matches my BMW F798GSA Perfectly. (Yes there is such a thing, just ask)Get one! You wont be Sorry!Great top caseI purchased a used motorcycle and the previous owner kept their luggage but left the mounting bracket. I don't blame them ! When I received the case it was exactly as I desired. Unfortunately, the bracket has the wiring for the case with a brake light, but the case I ordered didn't have lights. I did not account for the wiring harness getting in the way for the case to snap into place on the bracket. I didn't want to go to all of the effort to remove the bracket and wiring, and I didn't want to send this case back and order the more expensive one with the brake light. So I drilled a hole in the base of the case overlying the wiring harness and the case fit perfectly. I then used Flex Seal Tape to weatherproof the inside of the case.Mounted this box on my 2016 Vespa GTV300. I really like the size on this bike. It’s about the same width as the bike, yet low profile enough do as to not look overwhelming. The silver cover matches well with my silver GTV. I am impressed with the quality of the top box and mount system. The OE Vespa topboxes are nowhere near the quality of this product. I am confident that this top box is durable enough to last the lifetime of the motorcycle and then get transferred to my next bike. I use this bike around San Francisco, as well as on the freeway all the time. This top box makes the Vespa practical for a light Costco run if need be. I have loaded it up with all kinds of heavy stuff with no problem. It is solid enough that I don’t need to worry about valuables locked inside, they won’t be going anywhere. This top box would be difficult to bteak into. I added the Admore lighting kit LEDV47-T-TS (CG) and am very pleased with the additional lighting. I think that it greatly increases my visibility from the rear of the motorcycle. The box and additional lighting kit were not inexpensive. However, I believe the Givi V46 and LEDV47-T-TS (CG)to be well worth the money. They have transformed this Vespa into a very useful tool.No doubt about it; my research found me the best top box from a great company. They helped me thru a situation with great customer service.Plenty of room, easy to open & close & well balanced. I'm a happy camper.Mounted to my 2014 FJR1300 using the lightweight Givi SRA2109 rack mount and not the SR357 full rail kit.Note: if you do that on an FJR you'll need a subframe stiffener (which I had).Holds lots of stuff, I can easily put two Nolan N-104's in it. I can fit my Shoei Neotech 2 in it but only 1 and it doesn't sit in there like the Nolans do (shell is larger),Great portable luggage, not waterproof but comes with a cover to place over it. Lots of mounting points for easy fitting. Sturdy zips, not many quick access points so ideally used with a tank bag. This is an excellent product which is very well made from quality materials and it looks good on the bike, not too big and not too small. I have a Yamaha FZS 1000cc and I had not ridden a bike with a top box before. I did not want a box that would look out of place or ugly. Obviously it does change the look of the bike but I can not feel and diffreance when riding. I now have a bike I can use without having to wear a rucksack. I am very pleased and happy to give this box 5 Stars.Really well made, (as with all Give products). I was able to fit a matching lock to my panniers so now have the ideal one key fits all solution. The box is a little heavy even when empty, but this is the trade for having a very strong and secure storage. Holds one full face helmet, but I use it for a mass of stuff.Very pleased with this Givi TRK46N case. It's huge, I can stuff so much in there.Solidly built with a good (multi-language) guide on how to use and other accessories. The aluminium top is a nice touch, though it's actually plastic underneath. Perhaps not ideal if you're planning a trip across Africa, but for my urban jungle safari it's ideal. Can't fault it for the price excellent
