So I bought this affordable cleaver to replace an older one that wasn't working well anymore. It leaves nice clean cleaves good enough for a fiber splicer. It and the case it comes with are much smaller then the one I was using, more room in the tool box! It feels well built and I like the auto return on the blade. It definitely isn't a couple hundred dollar cleaver but if as a tech your buying your own this won't break the bank.
